Corporate Lawyer
Advise businesses on corporate transactions, commercial agreements, governance, compliance, and long-term legal strategy.
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to provide practical legal support to companies operating across different industries.
In this role, you will advise clients on corporate structures, commercial contracts, regulatory matters, business transactions, risk management, and corporate governance.
You will work directly with business owners, executives, investors, and internal legal teams. The position requires strong legal knowledge combined with a practical understanding of commercial priorities.
The successful candidate will be able to explain complex legal matters clearly, identify potential risks early, and provide solutions that support both legal compliance and business growth.
Job responsibilities
Advise clients on corporate law, governance, and commercial matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
Support mergers, acquisitions, investments, and restructuring projects.
Prepare shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and board resolutions.
Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions.
Advise management teams on legal risks and regulatory obligations.
Support company formation, registration, and internal restructuring.
Review procurement, supplier, licensing, and service agreements.
Develop legal strategies for complex business matters.
Coordinate with accountants, tax advisers, consultants, and external counsel.
Monitor changes in corporate and commercial legislation.
Assist clients with internal policies and compliance procedures.
Represent clients during negotiations and formal meetings.
Maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients.
Qualifications
Law degree from a recognized university.
Professional legal qualification or eligibility to practice law.
At least three years of experience in corporate or commercial law.
Strong experience drafting and negotiating business contracts.
Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage complex matters independently.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Professional proficiency in English.
Ability to explain legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness and client-focused thinking.
